Tuesday's three things
On Tuesdays, we art!*
On a long drive this morning, I listened to the latest How to Survive the End of the World episode. In it, the hosts touch on how many "movement" people are not (or not only) organizers. Below = three exhibits of that.

Item 1: Those orcas
Last night Favianna Rodriguez shared the beautiful new print above. Her IG post explains the meaning – but her entire shop is worth a browse.
She also has a ton of free resources available on her website: artwork for educational slideshows, a "how to make your own social justice poster" video, a guide (originally created for industry people in Hollywood) for creating trans-inclusive culture, and more.
Item 2: TV on purpose
I am late to the party and only a few episodes in, but I see why the first season of Mo has a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. Author Alisa Valdés-Rodríguez argues that creator Mo Amer is the new Charlie Chaplin:
Mo Amer’s scripted Netflix series Mo isn’t just a show about a Palestinian refugee living in Houston. It’s a document — a living record of what it means to survive in the underbelly of empire. It is the story of the millions of people whose labor keeps the machinery moving, even as they are denied basic rights, basic dignity, and any hope of stability.
And it’s freakin’ hilarious.
Short episodes. Only two seasons. The show's bottle of olive oil showed up in my dreams last night.
Item 3: Care, craft
Mariame Kaba is raffling a lovely needlepoint piece. Libraries are for the people! To enter, you contribute $15+ to support this Palestinian family then fill out the raffle form by midnight ET this Thursday, 3/13.
