Good morning. There are so many beautiful photos circulating from May Day actions yesterday, and protests continue today and this weekend. Today's list is a real grab bag; hope you find something you need.

Follow-up #1: Freedom of speech

Upon his release Wednesday, Mohsen Madawi said, "Keep in mind that, yes, you might think I am free, but my freedom is interlinked to the freedom of many other students, including Rümeysa Öztürk and Mahmoud Khalil."

➡️Write a note to Mahmoud Khalil for Avaaz to print and send. His wife, Dr. Noor Abdalla, gave birth < 2 weeks ago and he wasn't there for the birth. "The government has not accused him of any crime, nor has he ever been convicted of a legal offense that could put his immigration status at risk."

➡️Here are several ways to show solidarity with Rümeysa Öztürk, who is being denied asthma medication, among everything else she is enduring.

Follow-up #2: The price of eggs

Are you connected with your local Community Fridge? ➡️ Anjali Khosla calls their Brooklyn one "both democracy and anarchy" and has tips at the end of their post. (Link: 100 Days of Creative Resistance)

Are you a newly minted Costco member? ➡️ If you are in a position to do so, Rooted and Ready has suggestions for pantry and household items to calmly stock up on as we brace for shortages due to tariffs. (IG slideshow via pal Heidi.)

Follow-up #3: Flexing those defiance muscles

Need a pep talk? ➡️ Listen to The Five Stages of Defiance. (How to Survive the End of the World interview with Dr. Sunita Sah)

Follow-up #4: R🤢F🤮K

Need to check if you're up-to-date on measles protection? ➡️ Have I Been Vaccinated?

Committed to holding the line on autism? ➡️ Read Autism isn't an epidemic; individualism is (Misfit Mental Health); Why have vaccines been rules out as a cause of autism? (College of Physicians of Philadelphia); Fat moms don't cause autism (Burnt Toast).

Have these emails gotten too long? Do you wish there were fewer or more of them? Direct any rants or raves to this SHORT survey, please and thank you!
