Friday follow-ups

Item 1: Events
- Want to learn how to end an oligarchy? ➡️ RSVP for Sunrise Movement's online teach-in Monday night and/or sign up to host one!
- Want to help save "one of the last good things on the internet"? ➡️ Last week I mentioned the many Wikipedia edit-a-thons and trainings that Arts+Feminism volunteers will host throughout Women's History Month. Bumping those again because of this.
- Following up on "flex your defiance muscle" ➡️ SURJ is hosting Do Not Comply: a training to organize resistance in your community on March 19.
Item 2: Pep talks
In order from shortest to longest:
- From Sarah McAnulty on Bluesky: "Once again I am suggesting that you break some rules for practice..."
- From Danielle Coke Balfour, aka @ohhappydani on Instagram: A starter guide to microresistance
- From Chris Messinger on Facebook: "I’ve heard a lot of people in my network over the past two months say they're frozen or stuck, and I get it. So I want to offer my two cents about what can be done in this moment, informed by reflection, experience, and conversations with smart friends..."
- From this piece in The 19th about supporting trans kids in schools: "It does not need to be every single person at every single school board meeting. We need dining room conversations, school board meeting conversations, legislative conversations. We need people in all the places. No one can do everything, but everyone can do something."
Spring forward, everybody.
