Four artists for 🌎 Day

Poster with the words NATIONAL PARKS ARE NOT FOR SALE #ProtectOurParks. Brown fist w pink nail polish is raised against a green tree design.
One of several posters for download, thanks to @favianna1 and the @parksconservancy.

Newer subscribers might not know that I spotlight ARTISTS on Tuesdays. As always, take what you need, share what you think someone else might need, leave the rest.

Here we are on Earth together! Alive at the same time as these artists!

Item 1. Favianna again

Earth Day is today and it's also National Parks Week. Favianna Rodriguez, whose work I've shared here before, has partnered with the Parks Conservancy to offer Protect Our Parks posters for download.

Item 2. Jen Bloomer

The Radici Studios artist just released her latest screen print. There are 24 of these available.

We Cultivate Screen Print
20″ x 20″ Limited Edition signed color screen print. Printed on high quality green paper with non-toxic ink.

Artist 3 (for the pre-K set): Miss Katie Sings

There are few creators who inspire me to hold an after-school screen time double feature on Earth Day of all days. Miss Katie is one of them. Our family adores this deeply kind and talented Chicago-based musician and teacher who has been described as "AOC meets Mr. Rogers." This Earth Day video was in heavy rotation when my child was younger, and she has a new special this year. (YouTube links)

Artist 4: Director Ryan Coogler

I haven't seen Sinners yet, but look: W. Kamau Bell fixed the NYT's headline about it!

➡️ If you're in one of just 10 cities – London; Woodbridge, Ontario; Dallas, Tempe, Irvine, LA, SF, Fort Lauderdale, Indianapolis, or NYC in the U.S. – you can see the movie in IMAX, the format director Coogler intended.
